Start your relationship with nature through small acts.

Build rituals into your home and forage from the wild. When you offer space for the wild, you invite the imperfect, unplanned and ever-changing into your life.
Invite a closer, more intimate relationship with nature. Create rituals that draw a dialogue between your home-space and the wild.
Invite 'the Wild' Inside
Find small creative ways to inject colour and animation into your day. Start foraging for pieces to place in your home or gathering wild flowers from your walks.
In doing this, you start drawing a dialogue between your home space and nature. You begin to draw a closer, more intimate relationship with the natural world that unlocks the gentler, understated voices of plants, rocks, trees, forests, hills and rivers.
Build a 'cairn' within your home - collecting rocks or pieces from your walks. From this gesture, you might create a ritual that pays homage to your time outdoors and bring in a sense of pilgrimage that is close and intimate.

By inviting the wild inside, you begin a process of 're-wilding' your body and home. The wild is full of wisdom - it is imperfect, spoiled and ever-changing. The wild has much to teach and whisper - from its unequal, asymmetry and mud-stained feet, it teaches us to celebrate our imperfections and flaws.
Embrace your body's wildness - be it playful and present, gentle and fierce. Take inspiration from Jim Ede and build a mandala from smooth flat stones, collected mindfully in your walks. Collect those that naturally jump at you and grab your eye.
In this gesture, you might connect with the infinite or recognise a spiral map of all your loved ones. Whatever your rituals mean, make sure they connect to you and make sense to your path.
