Returning Home. To Yourself.

You always return to yourself in some way. You always land and come home. The true you is always there, somewhere inside. Try to care less about how you are perceived by others and focus on how you perceive yourself.

Keep your burdens light by throwing them behind and looking to the fresh time ahead of you - accentuating the positives and embracing whatever you do have, rather than lack. Accept miscommunications and conflicts as part of life. You can always belong to yourself and your experiences - and you can always find creative resolutions to hardship.

Your heart is yours and you are free to love who and what you choose to love. You are free to open yourself as you choose. That is your power, your responsibility to yourself and others. Try to be kind, generous and honest in all scores and take things with enormous compassion and gratitude.

Remember that your life is your life. We each have a world of our own to meet, mark and love. Try to value the beauty, kindness, intimacy and small deeds over that of big gestures and grandiosity. Take inspiration to ignite and impress on others your strengths and carve out a sense of your own worth.

Know your worth. Come to be intimately acquainted with it. Know it without feeling the need to declare it or have it seen or praised. Regulate your own expectations with the truth of who you really are and what your life truly means to you. Without the thoughts and perspectives of those around you.

Find contentment in your own successes - be they big or be they small - in your own journeys, relationships and choices. Come to love your life, simply because you have life and you choose to live it as you choose and share it with those you choose to share it with.

Find gratitude for the gifts you have been gifted - be they your qualities, your relationships, your adventures, your security, your sense of peace. In this way, build a home within yourself. One you can return to everyday and every moment, without fear or judgement - but simply with acceptance, love and joy.

We all doubt, fear and underestimate our abilities. With constant faith, courage and intention - we can find grounding and home wherever we are.
