Silence and Stillness

Silence offers us a landing. A place to pocket and press our dreams. A place to dive and dip our hopes and seeds. A harbour and a space to return to in hushed hinterlands and unhurried hilltops.
We settle and score our summits and draw a rhythm, a ritual to meet them. Each horizon is set to hilt and hum daily peace and daily dawn. At times, we are lost in the world - so we set and seep a deep longing for peace and a silence to breath in.
When we move silently, we move honestly. When we are at our most lost and most indecisive we can remind ourselves of the places that feel like home, we can remind ourselves that there is always a way, and that is often straight through that which we fear the most.
In many ways, we are all on a pilgrimage and life with its relationships is the greatest opportunity to press and plough a direction, that is wholly expansive, buoyant and creative. By doing the things we love with the people we love, a sense of belonging naturally sets in.
Facing ourselves comes with confronting the darkness and tuning into its rhythms. The ache to belong is fierce, ancestral and deep-rooted. The feeling of rupture or severance is calling to be tended to. Silence can soothe.
Cultivate a connection between your body and the landscape, Foster resting periods alongside lines of transition. Become open to the possibility of your day. Make space for stillness and make little marks towards nurturing your potential.
