We spend our lives heaped in pause, persistence and presence. We rage for different and we race for results.
Our world marked in muster, movement and making something out of nothing. We chase connection, run after adventure and seek some lose parts of ourselves that have yet to be met, measured or discovered.
We blaze in heat, in passion and purpose. Our lives lifted in the unexpected, uncalculated and uncharted by history or thought.
Like a dream. We dive into the deep, the dark and the wild. Ambition is everywhere. An epidemic. A haultering, unstoppable energy that consumes, devours and swallows us whole.
We fear missing our whole chapters of the lives we are meant and made for . Tormented by our limits, by time, by our decision making or by decision makers.
Like a canon catapulted into the skies, we seek speed, we savour pleasure and strive for adventure.
All of us are born explorers, born innately creative and playful. In moments - we are met with danger, with authority, with judgment and it is our sense of conviction that anchors, steers and buoys our bodies when we feel like drowning.
Life is a test and it is never smooth. In spins in pressure, destination and direction. The race we find ourselves in is ours. It is restless, alive and never-ending. The race has no real guidebook and the story unfolds in live time.
All we can do is set sail, with courage, intention and faith. Trust that we might be filled with balance, rhythm, courage and few regrets.
The race we have should always be between us and our dreams. It should have little or nothing to do with the speed and pattern of others.
Life takes time and in moments it has its own plan in store for us. One we can have little momentum over. We have only to ride it out and absorb the lessons, the humility, the taste and endure the impact.
Race in order to place yourself in a position of power and purpose not . Race for you and according to your own rules. Find your pace and press your values and beliefs at the heart of all you do, as best you can.
