Your Body is Your Compass

A rich life is full of much uncertainty, variation, variety and compassion. We each have to embrace moments of peace, humility and honour the wisdom around and within us. Sit in your discomfort, your uncertainty and allow it to transform - allow it to guide you.
Each journey we take is a gift. A timeless experience - rich and expansive. Fill your life with kindness, with beauty and daily acts of ritual. Be bold and be receptive to your body's resources. Your body is your compass and your place to play and navigate from.
Embrace the chaos within each other and witness the gentleness, the passion and strength within. We laugh, we surrender and open our hearts to each other with warmth and with integrity. Nothing else matters but this.
Careful not to impress our egos - each carrying their own mission, talents, outlooks and nature. It is a joy and a pleasure to witness and partake in such variety. Each of us are charged by our own histories, homes and each of us find solace in the space we share, moment to moment.
Life lifts and extends, as we are all met by the unknown and our little lives all made in real time; unrehearsed but participating in something undefined, uncontrolled and collaboratively sculpted and crafted together.
We all make and create this shared experience in a combined act of listening to our own bodies and our own intuition. We are knowingly or not, in constant dialogue and entanglement with each other. In this way, your body is always at one with everyone else's.
Our freedom exists within the parameters of everyone else's freedom. Even when we are unbound or alone, our dreams imbued with each others, with the nature we co-inhabit; our words pinned and tied to each other. Making and marking directions and flight.
We all have the ability to hurt one another through misunderstandings, tensions and anxiety. A peaceful body can see the humour in moments of conflict and bitterness. A peaceful body can lift negativity with lightness and patience.
At times, we can wrestle with the ego's need to mark, to impress and carve a good name - but there is much more to be said for rest, for removing pressure and simply being in your own body. Listening intently to where is wants to take you next.
